The doctor has to ensure that you are in a low-risk pregnancy
and that you have no chronic medical problems, like hypertension
or diabetes, and no history of a critical labour or delivery
before. It is also important to have transport available
and that you live close to the hospital. The drive should
not be longer then 40 km if traffic is light and the roads
are good or 15 km if you haven’t these conditions.
As delivery support it is recommend to have two midwifes
and your General Practitioner should be on call.
