This will depend on the reason for your Caesarean. During
an emergency Caesarean everything will happen very quickly
and the possibility exists that your partner will not be
allowed to be present. It is important to let your doctor
know well in advance of the delivery that you wish your
partner to be present and he will let you know the criteria
under which this will be possible. With a planned Caesarean
there is every possibility that your partner will be able
to share the experience with you.
