We are going away for the weekend and I would like to make
up the baby’s bottle before we leave so that I can relax
and not worry about it. Is that ok?
The thing to remember is that milk is the ideal medium
in which to grow bacteria. For that reason it is not a good
idea to make up the bottles before hand. What will make
your life easier, however, is to buy the small containers
into which you can pre-measure the formula powder. Put the
correct amount of pre-boiled water into the sterilised bottles
and close them up. Now at feed time you just have to add
the powder to the bottle and shake until it is completely
mixed!
